NEWS:
Oct 2009:
I'm excited to announce that I'm now an official endorsed artist with Allegra Drum Crafters!  Allegra is a custom drum company that builds, in my opinion, some of the finest drums in the world.  I have been playing my Allegra kit for close to a decade and am very proud to now officially represent them.

May 2009:
My current life is filled with lots of touring and gigs, with the bands listed above! Watch for Planet Loop in the Y2K9 Live Looping Festival, coming up in October.  A new group I'm excited about is the Strong Move Quartet, led by Philly sax transplant Tony Peebles.  We're heading into the studio this month to record some contemporary jazz originals and plan to start gigging in the next few months.

June 2008:
The first four months in Berkeley have been great.  I'm involved with several fun Bay Area projects (see above), including an electronic music/modern dance festival with pianist/composer
Jess Rowland and Shift Physical Theater.  In other news, Planet Loop just got back from a short Oregon tour, and has a Northern CA tour coming up in July.

March 2008:
I'm officially relocated to Berkeley, CA and loving it.  Currently I'm mixing my gigs between jazz, Latin, and funk bands, as well as my own band Planet Loop.  Check my schedule page to see what I've been up to so far in CA.

September 2007:
I've recently been accepted to join the Latin-Caribbean-Rock group Cocabanana Band.  For almost a decade they have been merging multi-part vocal harmonies with hard-driving rock and Latin grooves.  The future promises much fun and excitement with this group!

April 2007:
In the works right now is an exciting new project, Planet Loop, an original global groove improv duo featuring myself on drum set/electronics and Michael Schaller on electric bass and loops.  We plan to invite special guests to perform as well in a rotating cast.  Michael and I are busy writing tunes and plan to finish our album, "Emjoy Your Stay," in time for our "Berklee to Berkeley" coast to coast tour in late August. Check our website for upcoming shows and previews from the new album.

February 2007:
I've recently joined forces with NYC singer and composer Mary Elizabeth Lobb and her international quintet.  A combination of South American, Cuban, Brazilian, and jazz influences makes this unique music groove! Check my schedule page for upcoming gigs.

December 2006:
I graduated from Berklee College of Music!  What a ride.  Now I'm excited to have the chance to perform and tour full-time again.
